2027 linebacker Mason Cerovac commits to West Virginia
West Virginia has landed a key commitment in the 2027 recruiting class from Olmsted Falls (Oh.) 2027 linebacker Mason Cerovac.
Cerovac, 6-foot-3, 230-pounds, is coming off a visit to Morgantown for a spring practice where he left with a scholarship offer from the Mountaineers. It didn’t take long for him to take the next step.
“I am very blessed and excited to announce my commitment to West Virginia University!” he wrote.
The 2027 linebacker received his scholarship offer from head coach Rich Rodriguez during practice and it immediately put the program in a good position. It wasn’t the first trip for Cerovac to Morgantown as he previously made a visit for a camp stop.
The coaching staff is targeting Cerovac as a linebacker in the scheme and was impressed with his size and physicality at the position.
Cerovac becomes the third commitment for West Virginia in the 2027 class and the first at linebacker.
