Marcus Stokes and Air Noland will compete for the job. Stokes arrives from Division II West Florida, where he threw for 3,297 yards and 30 touchdowns last season and was a finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy. Noland, a former four-star recruit, spent time at Ohio State and South Carolina before transferring to Memphis.
