Rutgers Football OL John Stone to enter Transfer Portal
Rutgers Football has suffered another Transfer Portal hit to start the offseason, as offensive lineman John Stone becomes the latest player to announce his plans to leave, a source tell The Knight Report.
The 6-foot-2, 302-pound interior offensive lineman hails from Sewell, New Jersey and attended Washington Township High School before enrolling at Rutgers as a Class of 2023 recruit.

In his three years with the program, Stone redshirted in 2023 and also didn’t appear in a game in 2024. This past 2025 college football season, Stone appeared in all 12 games, mostly as a special teams blocker. He wa salso named
Stone was also named to both the 2024 and 2025 Academic All-Big Ten lists.
He will now enter the Transfer Portal with two years of eligibility remaining..
