Palestine, Texas is a small town in East Texas with a population of just under 20,000 people sitting 110 miles southeast of Dallas. In the sporting world, it's most known for as the hometown of former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson. Currently, Palestine is home to two Navy All-Americans in 2026 cornerback S’Vioarean “Boss” Martin and 2027 quarterback Kavian Bryant. Both recruits are committed to Texas Tech as the Red Raiders have beefed up their recruiting efforts in recent months. To learn more about what Texas Tech is getting in Martin and Bryant, we caught up with Palestine Westwood assistant coach Micah Angton who has known and/or coached both prospects for several years.
