Texas Tech continued its hot stretch in recruiting over the weekend, landing a commitment from Rivals100 wide receiver Julian Caldwell. Caldwell's commitment boosted a 2027 recruiting class currently ranked No. 2 nationally. Caldwell plays his high school ball at Argyle High School in the DFW area, and while landing any recruit of his caliber is a feat, it's even more impressive when the Red Raiders are able to go far away from home to acquire elite talent. They did so in the 2026 class with guys such as Georgia's LaDamion Guyton and Stephen Cannon, Montana's Matt Ludwig and Tennessee's Jacob Crow. They are in the midst of doing so in 2027, already holding commitments from Maryland's Anthony Sweeney and Kansas' Brody Pfannenstiel. This week, Texas Tech has offered several blue-chip recruits from outside of Texas state borders, specifically Arizona. Today, we take a look at the latest Red Raider recruiting targets from The Grand Canyon State.
