Pitt Football Weekend Recruiting Roundup

The Pitt football coaching staff have finished up their second week of in-person recruiting with a ton of activity down in Florida, Virginia and Georgia.

As the week wrapped up, a few members of the staff spent time in Pennsylvania and Ohio, etc.

It’s very early and things could and likely will change over the coming weeks, but Virginia seems to be a place that Pitt is recruiting a lot more aggressively than in years past. That effort is being led by Panthers wide receivers coach J.J. Laster.

As has been the case for the last decade, Florida remains Pitt’s top territory to recruit with tons of offers being extended in that talent rich state.
