Pitt Football Tuesday Recruiting Roundup

Recruiting continues to be the name of the game for Pat Narduzzi and his Pitt football coaching staff.

On Tuesday, the Pitt coaches continued their in-person recruiting as well as extending offers to high school juniors, sophomores and freshman.

Here’s a recap of what Pittsburgh Sports Now was able to gather.

*Elijah Morrison– 2027 offensive lineman from Dacula, Georgia received an offer following an in-home visit from OL coach Jeremy Darveau and TE coach Brent Davis. Morrison (6’4″, 305) holds Power 4 offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, NC State and Purdue.

*Mark Shiloh– 2027 defensive end from Jacksonville, Florida. Received the offer from Kade Bell and Shiloh (6’4″, 245) holds another Power 4 offer from Wake Forest.

*King Mercer– 2028 wide receiver from Jacksonville, Florida. Mercer received the offer from Kade Bell.

*Jacquari Parks– 2027 cornerback from Jacksonville, Florida. Parks (5’11”, 160) received the offer from Kade Bell and holds other D-1 offers from Florida State, South Florida, Memphis, Florida Atlantic, Tulane, UMass, Wake Forest and Western Kentucky.

*Caleb Mattison– 2027 running back from Jacksonville, Florida. Mattison (5’10”, 200-pounds) holds other D-1 offers from Michigan State, Wake Forest, Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Bowling Green and Jacksonville State.

*Noah Flores– 2027 athlete from Melbourne, Florida. Flores (5’8″, 170) plays running back, wide receiver and defensive back. Last season, he was named the Class 1A District 12 Player of the Year. This becomes his first Power 4 offer.

*Troy Butler– 2027 edge rusher from Jacksonville, Florida. Butler got the news following an in-person visit from Kade Bell. Butler (6’2″, 250) holds D-1 offers from Iowa State, Liberty, Florida International, UMass, Wake Forest, Charlotte, Western Kentucky and Georgia State.

*Javonte Williams– 2028 defensive back from Wheaton, Illinois. This becomes the first D-1 offer for Williams, who received it from Archie Collins.

*Owen Reilly– 2027 interior offensive lineman from Bel Air, Maryland. Reilly (6’4″, 290-pounds) received the offer from Jeremy Darveau and holds other D-1 offers from Penn State, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Kent State, Liberty and Coastal Carolina.

*X’Zavier Corbin– 2029 athlete from Melbourne, Florida. Corbin already holds D-1 offers from Florida State, Missouri, Maryland, Kentucky, Miami, Penn State, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, USC, Oregon, Mississippi State, SMU and Ohio State.

*Darrell Mattison– 2027 safety from Chicago, Illinois. Mattison received the offer from Harlon Barnett. Mattison (6’2″, 160) holds Power 4 offers from Iowa, Northwestern, Illinois, Nebraska, Michigan, Vanderbilt, Ole Miss, Iowa State, Kansas State, West Virginia, Cincinnati, Kansas, Stanford, Michigan State, Minnesota and Missouri.

*DeShaun Thomas– 2027 tight end/linebacker from Melbourne, Florida. Thomas (6’3″, 230) holds other offers from Louisville and Florida International.

*OL coach Jeremy Darveau had an in-home visit with 2027 3-star offensive lineman Bryson Hurt from Gainesville, Georgia. Hurt (6’4″, 300) holds Power 4 offers from Pitt, Ole Miss, West Virginia, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, Central Florida, Kansas State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Kentucky, NC State and Georgia Tech.

*OL coach Jeremy Darveau had an in-home with 2027 3-star offensive lineman Jaiden Lindsay from Olney, Maryland. Lindsay holds offers from Penn State, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Syracuse, West Virginia and South Florida.

*Elijah Mitchell– 2029 athlete from Cocoa, Florida received an offer from Kade Bell. This becomes the first D-1 offer for this freshman.
