Among the recruits to debut in the Rivals300 this past month, Cannon Zubeck headlined the Midwest.

The Prairie Village (Kans.) Shawnee Mission East four-star found himself ranked 20th in the 2028 class. A 6-foot-7, 268-pound offensive tackle, Zubeck finally added Missouri to his offer list Tuesday, following a conversation with new assistant offensive line coach Evan Boehm.

“He seemed like a great guy over the phone, and I’m excited to meet him in person and go from there,” the top-ranked Kansas prospect said. “It’s always love talking to a KC guy on the phone, because they know this area and understand how important this area means to them.”

Missouri admired Zubeck’s physicality in his sophomore season. But Boehm made it a point of emphasis to talk more with Zubeck about school and life right now. The third-ranked offensive tackle visited the Tigers for the home finale in November.

“The atmosphere this fall was incredible,” Zubeck said. “I had a great time with the coaches and everything.”

Reece Wilmes, IOL

Boehm also extended an offer to another offensive lineman across the Kansas-Missouri border. Class of 2028 three-star Reece Wilmes reported his Tigers scholarship Tuesday. The two discussed the importance of the Lawrence (Kans.) Free State interior offensive lineman visiting campus.

“I really enjoyed talking with him today and am looking forward to building a relationship with him and the rest of the Tigers coaches and staff,” the No. 230 overall recruit said. “I’m aware of this rivalry for sure. Honestly, I was too young to actually see any of the games, but I’m excited that the series has been renewed get. Very passionate fans on both sides.”

John Paul Carrico, OT

Less than one week after debuting at No. 136 on the Rivals300 for the 2028 class, John Paul Carrico added an offer from Luke Meadows. While not pitching the Tigers to the Owensboro (Ky.) Catholic four-star, the new assistant offensive line coach got to know the 12th-ranked offensive tackle prospect.

“He just said that he really liked my film, and he said that as soon as he saw it he wanted to offer me,” Carrico said. “He said that there aren’t very many people of my size (6-foot-8, 295 pounds) and athleticism with the ability to bend and finish defenders off the way I do.”

Ronald Crawford, DL

Chop Harbin looked to build a one-on-one relationship with Ronald Crawford in his offer conversation. The new Missouri defensive line coach wanted the Class of 2028 three-star to understand his track record of players reaching the NFL, while bettering them on and off the field.

“The thing that stood out about Coach Chop was his excitement about me,” the New Orleans (La.) De La Salle defensive tackle said. “He was really excited to speak with me and start building that relationship. … He loved my power and the explosion I play with for my age.”

Asa Burch, EDGE

The No. 114 overall recruit in the Rivals300, Asa Burch reported his fourth offer from Missouri, his first scholarship from an SEC program. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound edge visited both Penn State and Pittsburgh this past month.

“Missouri is one of the top programs in the country,” the Warren (Ohio) G Harding four-star said. “I’m excited to be considered and offered a scholarship. That’s up to coaches. I can’t wait to go visit and see the facility.”
