Mizzou legacy Braylon Ellison joins Rivals300 in final 2026 update
In the final Rivals300 touchup for the 2026 class, Braylon Ellison made an unprecedented rise.
The incoming Missouri freshman debuted at No. 284 on Monday. The now four-star (91 rating) interior offensive lineman entered the week at No. 627 in the Rivals Industry Ranking, sitting behind nine other Tigers signees from the high school ranks.
Before committing to Missouri on July 1, Ellison received an offer from Tigers coach Eli Drinkwitz during his official visit in early June. While not even rated then, the lineman added his first and only Power Four offer. He chose between Missouri and Oregon State a few weeks later.
Ellison, whose father — Atiyyah Ellison — played for the Tigers in the early 2000s before joining the staff, enrolled at the mid-year point in January. The Boonville (Mo.) product joined 14 other early enrollees as the now second-highest rated prep prospect behind four-star Johnnie Jones Jr.
Jones moved down 34 spots to No. 232 in the final update. The one-year Venice (Fla.) offensive tackle and former UCLA commit fell 89 spots in the November overhaul, a little over a month after committing to the Tigers on Oct 11.
No other Missouri signee or commit landed in the update. Former Tigers pledge Micah Nickerson, a four-star edge who signed with Mississippi State, checked in at No. 46, a rise of 47 spots. The list also included five other Show-Me State prospects: Jackson Cantwell (Miami signee), Titan Davis (Michigan), Rocco Marriott (UCF), Jacob Eberhart (Illinois) and Ronelle Johnson (Indiana).
