After a first-round exit in the NCAA Tournament in early March, Missouri turned its focus to the transfer portal.

The Tigers have six players set to exhaust eligibility this offseason, including Jacob Crews, Mark Mitchell, Shawn Phillips Jr., Jevon Porter and Jayden Stone.

The transfer portal will run for a 15-day window beginning the day after the NCAA Championship on Monday, April 6. Missouri used 14 of its 15 available scholarships this past season, leaving one spot open for the entirety of the year.

Here’s a running list of transfer updates ahead of coach Dennis Gates‘ fifth season with the Tigers:

May 17: Missouri transfer portal updates

Cord Stansberry, CG

Committed: Missouri (May 17)

Western Carolina transfer guard Cord Stansberry announced his commitment to Missouri following an official visit. The junior averaged 14.1 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game this past season before entering the portal with one season of eligibility remaining.

May 11: Missouri transfer portal updates

Jordan Crawford, SG

Committed: Missouri (May 12)

South Dakota transfer Jordan Crawford began a Missouri official visit Monday, the guard shared to his Instagram Story. As a junior this past season, Crawford averaged 14.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 32 contests.

May 8: Missouri transfer portal updates

Abdi Bashir Jr., SG

Kansas State transfer guard Abdi Bashir Jr. — whom Missouri reportedly expressed interest in — committed to LSU. The 6-foot-7 junior averaged 13.2 points per game this past season while shooting 44.4% from the 3-point line.

May 2: Missouri transfer portal updates

James White, SG

Missouri expressed interest in New Orleans transfer James White, Ersin Demir reported. The 6-foot-5 wing averaged 19.2 points and seven rebounds across 20 games — 19 starts — this past season. He began his college career at Ole Miss. White and Gates look to scheduled a Zoom call, the transfer’s representative said.

April 29: Missouri transfer portal updates

Tijan Saine Jr., PG

Weber State transfer Tijan Saine Jr. heard from LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, San Jose State, Texas State and Washington, per ESPN’s Jeff Borzello. The first-team All-Big Sky selection guard averaged 17.5 points and 4.3 assists this past season.

April 26: Missouri transfer portal updates

Ethan Copeland, PG

According to Rising Ballers Network, Missouri reached out to Stetson transfer Ethan Copeland. The junior guard averaged 15 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists across 33 contests this past season. He shot 44.1% from fro the field, 42.9% from deep and 79.4% from the free-throw line.

April 25: Missouri transfer portal updates

Tyshawn Archie, CG

Committed: Texas A&M (April 25)

Missouri expressed interest in McNeese State transfer Tyshawn Archie, a source said. The 6-foot-1 junior averaged 14.3 points, 2.9 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game in his lone season with the Cowboys.

April 22: Missouri transfer portal updates

Davion Hannah, CG

Committed: South Carolina (April 30)

Badger Blitz insider Evan Flood reported Alabama transfer Davion Hannah‘s top contenders as Georgetown, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, NC State, South Carolina, Vanderbilt and Wisconsin. No visits had been scheduled at the time of the report.

The Tigers finished second to the Crimson Tide for Hannah in the 2025 class. The freshman averaged 3.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. He appeared in just 10 contests before suffering a season-ending injury.

April 20: Missouri transfer portal updates

Josh Holloway, PG

Committed: Memphis (April 29)

Texas A&M transfer Josh Holloway scheduled a visit to Missouri for Tuesday, Sam Kayser of League Ready reported. Memphis, USC and West Virginia also expressed interest in the rising senior. The guard averaged 4.6 points, 1.8 assists and 1.7 rebounds this past season.

April 19: Missouri transfer portal updates

Jevon Porter, PF

Porter entered the transfer portal and applied for a waiver to be eligible for next season, a source confirmed to MizzouToday. The senior forward appeared in 12 games this past season due to an injury, which put him above the 30% games played threshold to automatically qualify for a medical redshirt.

Jalen Reece, PG

Committed: Texas A&M (April 22)

Gates and Texas A&M head coach Bucky McMillan both scheduled in-person visits to LSU transfer Jalen Reece, a source told On3 national basketball reporter Joe Tipton. Reece, who averaged 12 points and 6.8 assists across his final 12 SEC games this past season, is expected to visit Missouri, Ohio State and Texas A&M this week.

April 18: Missouri transfer portal updates

Jaye Nash, PG

Committed: Connecticut (May 9)

According to Tobias Bass of The Athletic, Missouri contacted Jacksonville State transfer Jaye Nash. The rising junior guard finished with 129 assists — Top 5 in the CUSA — this past season and posted a season-high of 19 points against Kennesaw State in the conference championship game.

April 15: Missouri transfer portal updates

Ade Popoola, SG

Committed: DePaul (April 15)

Tulsa transfer Ade Popoola sank shot 41% from beyond the arc in his junior season. The St. Louis (Mo.) Parkway North product and 6-foot-5, 200-pound wing averaged 10.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.3 rebounds across 38 games.

Jasper Johnson, SG

Committed: Oregon (April 18)

Alabama was the early school to watch for Kentucky transfer Jasper Johnson. However, things have shifted to Missouri as the school gaining ground, according to Tipton. Johnson appeared in 35 games his freshman season with the Wildcats.

April 14: Missouri transfer portal updates

Money Williams, SG

Committed: Boston College (April 16)

Montana transfer Money Williams named a Top 5 of Boston College, Missouri, Saint Mary’s, Santa Clara and UNLV to Kayser. The 6-foot-4 guard received First Team All-Big Sky honors this past season while averaging 20.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

Karter Knox, SF

Committed: Louisville (April 15)

Arkansas transfer Karter Knox emerged as a visit target for Missouri and South Carolina, senior national recruiting analyst Jamie Shaw reported. The rising junior, who also visited Louisville, has a connection to the Gamecocks in his brother, Kobe Knox, who played with them last season.

April 13: Missouri transfer portal updates

Cruz Davis, CG

Committed: Texas Tech (April 16)

Missouri reached out to Hofstra transfer Cruz Davis, a source told Jeff Goodman of The Field of 68. The combo guard averaged 20.1 points, 4.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game across 35 starts in his fourth collegiate season.

Jaylen Carey, PF

Committed: Missouri (April 13)

Tennessee transfer Jaylen Carey committed to Missouri for his final season of eligibility. He averaged 7.4 points, six rebounds and 1.3 assists per game as a junior. The The 6-foot-8, 267-pound power forward spent his sophomore campaign at Vanderbilt and freshman year at James Madison.

Christian Harmon, SG

Committed: Virginia (May 5)

Arkansas State transfer Christian Harmon heard from Missouri since entering the portal, per the Rising Ballers Network. The guard averaged 15 point and shot 39% from beyond the 3-point line in conference play.

Jacob Crews, PF

Crews entered the transfer portal in pursuit of a hardship waiver for an additional year of eligibility, according to his agent, Daniel Poneman of WEAVE. The forward played in only nine games in the 2021-22 season, keeping him under the maximum game limit to qualify for a redshirt year.

Jamier Jones, SF

Committed: Missouri (April 14)

Jamier Jones had a productive freshman season at Providence, averaging 12.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in league play. Missouri is a school to watch closely, according to Tipton. Tigers general manager Tim Fuller helped recruit Jones to the Friars, and they have strong relationship. Jones visited Missouri on Sunday.

April 11: Missouri transfer portal updates

Kennard Davis, SF

Committed: Missouri (May 1)

BYU transfer Kennard Davis officially visited Missouri on April 30. The St. Louis (Mo.) Vashon product received interest from the Tigers in the previous transfer cycle as well. During his junior season, the small forward averaged 8.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.1 steals per game.

April 10: Missouri transfer portal updates

Najai Hines, PF

Committed: Connecticut (April 15)

Seton Hall transfer Najai Hines contributed 6.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game this past season. The 6-foot-10, 265-pound forward shot 60.2% from the field, but he only took 4.3 attempted shots per contest.

Isaac Bruns, SG

Committed: USC (May 7)

According to Bass, South Dakota transfer Isaac Bruns heard from Missouri. The junior guard averaged 20.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 20 starts this past season for the Coyotes.

April 9: Missouri transfer portal updates

Okechukwu Okeke, PF

Albany transfer Okechukwu Okeke receiving interest from Missouri after entering the portal, his agency, GSE Worldwide, disclosed to Kayser. The America East Defensive Player of the Year averaged 10.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 blocks, one steal across 32 contests in his third Division-I season.

Rickey Ballard, SF

Grambling State transfer Rickey Ballard heard from Missouri, he told 365 Recruits. The 6-foot-8 wing averaged 7.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals while shooting 40% from the field and 37.6% from the 3-point line across 33 contests. The senior played two years at Division-II Lynn.

Aiden Sherrell, C

Committed: Indiana (April 15)

Sources named LSU, Indiana, MichiganMichigan State and Missouri as schools to monitor for Alabama big man Aiden Sherrell, per Tipton. The 6-foot-10 sophomore had a breakout season, averaging 11.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game. 

Jalen Cox, CG

Committed: USC (April 22)

Colgate transfer Jalen Cox has received interest from Missouri, his agency told Kayser. The First Team All-Patriot League guard averaged 17.9 points, 5.3 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game across 31 starts this past season. The rising senior also shot 36.5% from 3.

Christian Hammond, PG

Committed: NC State (April 13)

Santa Clara transfer Christian Hammond plans to visit NC State, he told CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. The redshirt sophomore point guard — who averaged 15.6 points per game across 34 contests — noted also receiving interest from Missouri.

Roddie Anderson III, SG

Committed: Seton Hall (April 20)

Xavier transfer Roddie Anderson III has received interest from the Tigers, he told Kayser. Anderson, who previously played at Boise State and UC San Diego, averaged 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals across 33 games and five starts.

TJ Burch, PG

Signed: Utah (April 22)

Wright State transfer TJ Burch heard from Missouri since entering the portal, he told Blake Smith of Recruits Zone. The rising junior averaged 12.4 points, 3.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 2.6 steals in 34 games his sophomore season. He also shot 45.7% from the field and 34.7% from the 3-point line.

April 8: Missouri transfer portal updates

Bryson Tiller, PF

Committed: Missouri (April 16)

Kansas transfer Bryson Tiller‘s top schools — as of now — are Arizona, Michigan, Miami and Missouri, a source told Goodman. The talented and skilled freshman averaged 7.9 points, 6.1 boards and 1.3 blocks this past season. Tiller visited both Miami and Missouri before later canceling his trip to Arizona.

Lureon Walker, G

North Carolina A&M transfer Lureon Walker noted interest from Missouri to The Portal Report. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound guard averaged 16.6 points, three rebounds and one assist per game this past season. Walker also shot 46.4% from the field.

April 7: Missouri transfer portal updates

Terrence Brown Jr., SG

Committed: North Carolina (April 21)

Utah transfer guard Terrence Brown Jr. heard from Missouri, he told Rising Ballers Network. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound rising senior — who spent two seasons at Fairleigh Dickinson — averaged 19.9 points and 3.8 assists per game in his junior campaign. The Minneapolis product shot 45% from the field, 33% from the 3-point line and 78% from the free-throw line.

Jordan Frison, PG

Committed: Wichita State (April 11)

Chattanooga transfer and Third Team All-Southern Conference guard Jordan Frison tabbed Missouri a school in contact, he told Kayser. The 6-footer transferred from Pittsburgh State and averaged 16.4 points, four assists and 3.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 55.6% from the field and 45.5% from deep.

Justin McBride, PF

Committed: Kentucky (April 28)

James Madison transfer Justin McBride heard from Missouri in his first wave of schools reaching out, he told Kayser. The 6-foot-7 power forward — who received a Tigers offer in high school — averaged 15.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists this past season. He also shot 40% from beyond the 3-point line.

Kevin Overton, SG

Auburn announced the return of Kevin Overton, whom a source noted Missouri might’ve had a chance with in the transfer portal. The Wichita (Kans.) Sunrise Christian Academy product started 36 games in his junior season, putting together a late shooting surge.

April 6: Missouri transfer portal updates

Markus Burton, PG

Committed: Indiana (April 13)

Missouri expected interest in Notre Dame transfer Markus Burton, a source confirmed. Due to a broken ankle this past season, the point guard received a medical hardship waiver, giving him two years of eligibility for the remainder of college.

T.O. Barrett, PG

Committed: Vanderbilt (April 22)

Missouri point guard T.O. Barrett plans to enter the transfer portal, he told Tipton. The 6-foot-4 sophomore averaged 8.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, three assists and 1.2 steals per game this past season.

Nicholas Randall, SF

Freshman forward Nicholas Randall‘s still working on his deal for his second season at Missouri, but according to a source, he doesn’t plan on leaving. The Chandler (Az.) Compass Prep product appeared in 22 games this past season.

April 2: Trent Burns agrees to new deal

Missouri’s 7-foot-5 center, Trent Burns, agreed to a deal to return to the Tigers next season, he told Tipton. Burns found a larger role in his redshirt freshman season down the stretch, playing a backup role to Phillips and averaging two points and 1.8 rebounds per game across 22 contests.

April 1: Sebastian Mack plans to transfer

Missouri guard Sebastian Mack plans to enter the transfer portal, a source told Tipton. The 6-foot-3 junior averaged seven points per game in 18 contests this past season. Mack began his career at UCLA. He will have one season of eligibility remaining.

March 30: Anthony Robinson II plans to transfer

Committed: Florida State (April 16)

Missouri point guard Anthony Robinson II plans to enter the transfer portal, his agent, Alex Ersoff of 3V Group, told Tipton. The 6-foot-3 junior averaged 8.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and three assists per game in the 2025-2026 season. He received SEC All-Defensive Team honors during his sophomore campaign.

March 30: Trent Pierce agrees to new deal

Missouri forward Trent Pierce agreed to a deal to return to the Tigers next season, he told Tipton. The 6-10 junior averaged 10.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this past season. He also shot 38.4 percent from the 3-point line. Pierce will have one season of eligibility remaining.
