Two Villanova guards have successful knee surgery
Villanova guards Chris Jeffrey and Wade Chiddick underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on their right knee this week, per release.
Jeffrey, the freshman guard, had surgery on Friday to address an injury he sustained prior to Villanova that “flared up” recently. He was averaging 4.2 points in 10.5 minutes per game off the bench.
As for the senior Chiddick, he’s been out since mid-November and underwent surgery on Wednesday. He scored his first career point against Sacred Heart on Nov. 11 and hasn’t played since.
There is no timetable to return to basketball activities for either player.
