Russian big man Kirill Elatontsev, 23, who has been cleared by the NCAA and has one semester remaining in college, is expected to play at Oklahoma this season, Elevate Pro Group told The Field of 68.

This could be a huge midseason addition for Porter Moser and the Sooners.

Elatontsev is a versatile 6-11 center who has been playing for Lukomotiv Kuban in the VTB United League – and been named league’s Best Young Player for the last two seasons. He has also been on the Russian National team.

During the 2024-25 season with Lukomotiv Kuban, Elatonsev averaged 7.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. He played in 37 games and averaged 19.8 minutes per contest.
