Louisville basketball has offered Indiana HS (Pa.) 6-foot-8 wing Aaron Webb following an unofficial visit with the program.

Webb, one of the fastest rising prospects in Pennsylvania, currently ranks as the 2027 class’s 191st-overall prospect and 6th-best player out of the state. He currently holds offers from the Cardinals, Virginia Tech, Penn State, and James Madison, with Clemson, Ohio State, and Pitt showing interest.

Playing for the Little Indians, the high flyer averaged 24.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.2 blocks through 22 games this winter. Webb was the team’s leading 3-point shot taker and maker, hitting 55 of 158 attempts for 35 percent.

Cardinals assistant coach Thomas Carr was in to see Webb and his team practice on February 11, and then Louisville welcomed Webb for an unofficial visit ahead of the March 3 game against Syracuse. The Cards have been on Webb since seeing him this past summer in practice and stopping by a game last month. His recruitment has been led by Carr and Ronnie Hamilton.

With a versatile skillset, Webb is one of the most talented players to come out of the WPIAL in recent memory, playing alongside his brother. Webb’s father, Stan, is the all-time leading scorer at Indiana and is currently on staff as an assistant coach. After graduating from Indiana, he played college basketball at Kentucky Wesleyan.

Louisville sees Webb as a combo-guard, capable of attacking off the basket, being electrifying above the rim, and providing streaky shooting. At 190 pounds, Webb’s frame still has time to evolve, but he’ll flash an impressive above-the-rim package, good defensive instincts, and a smooth shot. Webb doesn’t need screens or a bunch of dribbles to get his shot off and is comfortable pulling up off the dribble or being a knockdown catch-and-shoot player.

The Cardinals’ 2027 high school recruiting class currently has two commits: La Lumiere’s (Ind.). Ferlandes Wright and Overtime Elite’s Isaac Ellis. Ellis, a 6-foot-1 point guard, was named the league’s MVP after averaging 29.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game for Moravian Prep (NC). Wright, a Louisville native, grew up a Cards fan and has proved to be an effective two-way player at the highest level of prep school basketball. The 6-foot-8 forward averages 8.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks a contest as a junior.
