Jaiden Lindsay recently visited Colorado, James Madison and Virginia Tech. When recapping his trip to the Front Range, the 6-foot-4, 295-pound offensive lineman from Olney (Md.) Good Counsel raved about his time with the Buffaloes’ head coach.

“I had a chance to meet with (Deion) ‘Coach Prime’ (Sanders) on Thursday and we talked about how him and the staff felt about recruiting me,” Lindsay recapped. “That was really cool because Coach Prime is a Hall-of-Famer and he really likes my game.

“Friday we watched practice and met with all the coaches. I really enjoyed meeting with the offensive line coaches! We talked for hours and they even showed me some things to make me a better football player.”

Lindsay is set to return to Boulder for an official visit the weekend of June 5.

“My main takeaway is that Coach Prime feels like I am a ‘dawg’ and will fit in good with his offensive line,” he said. “That made me feel good hearing that from him.

“They ran a really good practice and it was intense and full of good coaching. I liked what I saw.”

Trips to Maryland and Penn State are also on the horizon for Lindsay as he continues to navigate through the recruitment process.

Lindsay is projected as an interior offensive lineman for the college level. He earned first-team all-state, all-metro and all-conference honors after helping the Falcons to six wins this past season.

“I pride myself on doing everything I can to protect quarterbacks and make lanes for running backs,” he said. “If someone came to watch me play for the first time, I would like them to leave knowing I’m a very physical, athletic lineman that finishes every play.”
