Former Ruston Star Josh Brantley Set to Join Hometown Bulldogs
Josh Brantley has officially committed to Louisiana Tech.
A transfer from Tulane, Brantley will return home to Ruston with four years of eligibility remaining.
The name may sound familiar—Brantley was the starting quarterback for the Ruston Bearcats for three seasons, including 2023, when the team captured its first state championship since 1990.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound standout is expected to transition to tight end for the Bulldogs after playing defensive end for the Green Wave last season.
