The Oregon State Beavers have added Grand Canyon transfer center Dennis Evans to their roster.

Evans is listed in the transfer portal as the No. 379 layer overall and No. 38 center available according to Rivals.

The 7-foot-1 center was once considered one of the top recruits in the country, including being ranked as high as No. 13 by Rivals in the 2023 recruiting class. He ultimately signed with Louisville over TCU and Minnesota.

Evans appeared in just seven games in his freshman season with Louisville in 2023-24 before transferring to Grand Canyon for the 2025-26 season.

With the Grand Canyon, Evans played in 25 games, averaging 8.4 minutes per contest. He averaged 2.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game in the process.
