Oregon State MBB Adds Buffalo Transfer Guard Daniel Freitag
The Oregon State men’s basketball team and head coach Justin Joyner have continued their momentum in the transfer portal as the Beavers landed former Buffalo guard Daniel Freitag.
After beginning his career at Wisconsin and seeing action in just 14 games in 2024-25, the former four-star recruit blossomed with the Bulls in 2025-26. He averaged 19.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.8 assists while shooting 41% from the floor, 36% from downtown, and 83% from the line. He’ll have two seasons of eligibility remaining…
Freitag joins guard Legend Smiley, forward Jackson Ramussen, guard Deshawn Gory, and centers Dennis Evans and Xavion Staton as transfers committed to the Beavers.
