Wisconsin to Face Auburn in Nashville During 2026-27 Season
With Wisconsin’s 2025-26 basketball season having been over for a few weeks, eyes turn toward 2026-27. Not just regarding the roster, but the schedule as well.
The Badgers have one of their non-conference games set for next season, as they will face Auburn on Saturday, December 19, in Nashville, according to Alex Rosinski. The two will play each other at Bridgestone Arena, home of the Nashville Predators.
Badgers to Face Auburn For Second Time Ever
Saturday’s matchup will be the first time since the 2006-07 season in the South Padre Island Invitational. The No. 7-ranked Badgers took down the Tigers, 77-63, led by a combined 41 points between Kammron Taylor (16), Alando Tucker (15) and Jason Bohannon. Current assistant coach Joel Krabbenhoft notched eight points, eight rebounds and four assists.
That game was the only time Wisconsin and Auburn have faced off in basketball. The Tigers are currently in the NIT championship, facing Tulsa on April 5 at 7 p.m. CT.
This was the first season in which Auburn was without Bruce Pearl since 2014-15. His son, Steven, took over the program this year and went 16-15 (7-11 in the SEC) in the regular season. The Tigers are 21-16 overall heading into their final game.
