BREAKING: Catholic Memorial Safety Dustin Roach Commits to Wisconsin

Wisconsin Badgers insider Evan Floodby: Evan Flood01/23/26Evan_Flood

Wisconsin has landed its third commitment in the class of 2027 from Waukesha (Wis.) Catholic Memorial safety Dustin Roach.

The unranked safety chose the Badgers over Eastern Michigan. Safeties coach Jack Cooper was the lead recruiter for Roach, who will be in Madison next Saturday for junior day.

“Our relationship has grown a lot,” said Roach. “We call and talk a lot. Our relationship has grown a lot since the last time I was in Madison.”

As a junior, Roach posted 35.0 tackles, five interceptions, eight pass breakups, and two defensive touchdowns. Also a standout receiver, Roach caught 28 passes for 727 yards and eight scores.

“He (Cooper) sees a really big role for me,” said Roach. “I think their defense was really good this year, especially the safeties. They have a lot of studs. I really like Matt JungAustin Brown too. The freshman linebackers were also studs.”

Roach joins offensive tackle Ethan McIntosh (Verona, Wis.) and tight end Korz Loken (Iola, Wis.) in Wisconsin’s 2027 recruiting class.

Roach is currently unranked by Rivals. Stay tuned to Badger Blitz for more on his commitment.
