Top-40 recruit Billy White III commits to SMU, reclassifies to 2025
Billy White III, a four-star small forward in the 2026 class, has committed to SMU and has reclassified into the 2025 class, he told Rivals. He becomes one of the highest-ranked players to ever commit to the program.
The 6-foot-8 small forward of Veterans Memorial High School in Corpus Christi, TX is ranked as the No. 40 overall recruit in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. His ranking will be re-evaluated following his move into the 2025 class.
White chose Andy Enfield and the Mustangs over offers from Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Stanford, Maryland, Virginia, and Texas A&M.
