Tennessee adds Rivals four-star DL Jerimy JJ Finch to Top 10 class
Tennessee has landed a commitment from Indianapolis (Ind.) Warren Central four-star defensive lineman Jerimy JJ Finch. He is a former Alabama commit.
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Finch adds to a Top 10 Vols recruiting class.
“Really that scheme of Tennessee fits me very well,” Finch recently said.
“I have built good relationships with the coaches and I like how they see me fitting in with their schemes.”
Rivals ranks Finch as the nation’s No. 30 defensive lineman. He had a monster senior season racking up 86 tackles including 24.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and 17 quarterback hurries.

“He plays relentless and plays every play like it’s his last,” Warren Central head coach JT Whitaker said. “Possesses an elite mindset to never lose a rep on the field, has the movement of a skill guy and the football IQ of a quarterback. Never backs down from a challenge.”
Finch also strongly considered Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, LSU and many others during his process.
