QB Sebastian Circo commits to the UNLV Rebels

After visiting UNLV last weekend, and spending time with head coach Dan Mullen, quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis and getting a feel for the program under new leader, Sebastian Circo made an easy decision – he committed to UNLV.

“I committed to UNLV because they have coaches that develop great players in all positions, but specifically the quarterback position,” Circo told On3.

The 6-foot-1, 183-pound quarterback out of Davies (Fla.) Western threw for 2,094 yards, 19 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions as a senior. He is excited about his future in Las Vegas and will do whatever he can to help the program.

“I am most concerned with the quarterback I can become for the program over the next few years and helping turn those improved skills into wins at UNLV.

“From a personal standpoint, I bring a deep and single-minded commitment to the team and the coaches to win. I’m highly competitive and will put in the work. On field, I believe I have demonstrated the skills to play at that level. The move to Florida was a sacrifice riddled with challenges but it allowed me to play against some of the best defensive players in the nation and succeed.”

Mullen is an offensive-minded head coach. He has coached guys like Tim Tebow and Dak Prescott, so that excited the new commit.

“The coaches have a history of developing amazing teams and the culture that supports that, so I am excited to be a part of that,” Circo added.
