Oregon offensive tackle signee Immanuel Iheanacho has cemented his place as one of the top overall prospects in the 2026 cycle.

He’s long been a five-star prospect, but he now holds Five-Star Plus+ status following the release of the final Rivals300 rankings on Monday. He leaped 24 spots from No. 45 to No. 21 in the rankings and finishes as Rivals’ No. 5 OT.

Rivals’ National Scout Cody Bellaire broke down why Iheanacho got the final push and landed his fifth star in the Rivals300:

“Oregon signee Immanuel Iheanacho is a mammoth of an offensive lineman and is simply a roadblock for oncoming defenders. His size is tremendous: nearly 6-foot-7, 350-plus pounds, with an over-7-foot wingspan. After seeing him against some of the top competition in the country at the Under Armour All-American game, it was clear that even though he doesn’t possess elite foot speed and flexibility, he is more than a functional mover in the run game and in his pass sets in order to sit down nearly every defender that went up against him.

…His raw power and length let him manhandle defenders at the point of attack and maintain leverage consistently. He may be an exception to the rule when it comes to mobility at tackle, as he possesses rare traits that simply do not appear at the position in every cycle.”

The 6-foot-7, 380-pounder delivered Dan Lanning and the Ducks one of the biggest recruiting wins of the entire cycle on July 3. It was hinted that a decision was coming on the Fourth of July, but he opted to go public and lock in with the Big Ten program.

“It was a very tough decision because so many different schools had my attention, but the small things added up and led me to Oregon,” Iheanacho told Rivals. “I got on campus three times, I got to know the coaches, my parents saw the area and I knew it was is the right fit.

“Since I visited in the spring, I had Oregon on top and it never changed. LSU was great. I had a good time at Penn State and I like he coaches there. What made the most sense for me though, was Oregon. It felt different. The fit is right. I love the people. The program is what I need.”

Iheanacho never wavered before signing with the Ducks. He then put in a great performance at Under Armour All-America week and is now off to Eugene. He’s one of two Rivals300 five-stars signed with Oregon, alongside wide receiver Jalen Lott.
