Nation's No. 2 junior college recruit Keshawn Davila sets commitment date
The nation’s No. 2 junior college recruit, Northwest Mississippi Community College cornerback Keshawn Davila, is ready to announce his next destination.
The four-star has seen his recruitment blow up in recent months, and Davila told On3 in late October that his top group of schools consisted of Florida, Arkansas, Iowa, Michigan State, Utah, Arizona State and Virginia Tech.
He will announce his decision between those programs on Dec. 12, he said, choosing between Arkansas, UCLA and Virginia Tech.
The 6-foot-1, 165 pounder is the No. 2 overall junior college prospect and No. 1 CB this cycle, according to On3’s junior college rankings.

The Hawkeyes and Spartans hosted him on official visits in October, and he visited Arizona State and Virginia Tech last month. Arkansas, which extended him an offer a few months ago, is expected to host him for an official visit this coming weekend.
He has two interceptions this season — both pick-sixes. During his first season at NWCC, Davila played in nine games for the Rangers, totaling 35 tackles (21 solo), 14 assists, six TFLs, two interceptions, two pass breakups, one fumble recovery and a sack.
Originally a native of Florida, he played at Hillsborough High, collecting 40 tackles, four sacks, and four tackles for loss as a senior in 2021. He was a Class of 2022 high school recruit and will have two years of eligibility left at the college level.
