Mississippi State lands commitment from 2026 OL Leon Noil
Mississippi State added some more firepower in the trenches to kick off Wednesday.
Class of 2026 interior OL prospect Leon Noil has committed to the Bulldogs, he tells Rivals.
The decision comes on the heels of Noil reopening his recruitment over the weekend.
The Bulldogs were a finalist for the 3-star standout OL from powerhouse New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr before he committed to Nebraska.
Mississippi State has kept its foot on the gas for the Louisiana-based recruit having a terrific season again playing tackle for Karr.
“Mississippi State has been ramping up its recruitment of me very heavily the past month,” Noil told Rivals.

That includes a strong presence from lead recruiter Phil Loadholt and especially head coach Jeff Lebby
“Coach Lebby has been involved heavily,” Noil asserted. “When I went to their game, the atmosphere felt great. Coach Loadhardt is also a key factor. He is a great developer of talent and he played in the league at the same position I play, and I believe he can help me get there.”
After returning to Starkville earlier this month, Noil also loved the proximity that Mississippi State was to home.
“It’s closer to home,” he said, adding that “the energy of the team and staff was definitely also a big part.”
