Elite 2027 WR Nick Lennear commits to Miami
Miami Northwestern four-star wide receiver Nick Lennear has committed to Miami.
He chose the Hurricanes over the likes of Syracuse, Nebraska, LSU and Oklahoma.
Lennear is the No. 26 overall prospect and No. 6 WR in the 2027 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 5 junior in Florida.
Miami began to trend for Lennear after he returned to Coral Gables to watch the Hurricanes’ season-opening win over Notre Dame. Spending plenty of time around campus, Lennear is ready to stay home and lock in with the ACC program.
“This weekend showed me Miami is building something special,” Lennear told Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong after the visit. “Coach Cristobal’s vision, the energy around the program, and the way they’re recruiting makes me excited to be part of bringing the Hurricanes back to the top.”

Scout’s Take on Nick Lennear
Rivals’ Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power wrote this of Lennear at the Navy All-American Bowl at the beginning of the year:
“Nick Lennear elevated his game during the most competitive periods of the week and making splash plays when the lights were brightest. The rising senior showed outstanding burst within his routes, roasting corners during the 1-on-1 period of Wednesday’s joint practice. He showed up big once again on Saturday, making the catch of the game, with a magnificent diving grab in the end zone to put the East up early. Lennear continue to flash when targeted, later elevating for a ball over the middle of the field. The Miami native’s showing at the Navy All-American Bowl creates positive momentum heading into the offseason.”
