2027 Top-20 recruit Javon Bardwell down to 4 schools
Javon Bardwell, one of the top wing prospects in the 2027 class, has narrowed his list of schools down to four, he told Rivals. Moving forward, the 6-foot-6 small forward out of PHHoenix Prep (AZ) will consider Louisville, Kansas, Texas, and USC.
Prior to cutting his list down, the four-star recruit also received offers from TCU, Washington, Cal, Arizona State, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, and others.
Bardwell is originally from Harlem, New York but grew up in the state of Arizona. He also competes in the Overtime Elite league, where he plays for the Diamond Doves.
According to the 2027 Rivals Industry Rankings, Bardwell is ranked as the No. 18 overall recruit in the 2027 class. He’s also the No. 7 ranked small forward and the No. 4 player in Arizona.

Rivals’ National Recruiting Analyst Jamie Shaw evaluated him this summer and had this to say about him:
“Javon Bardwell has a great frame with length and projectability. He scored the ball well today, either shooting off the catch or finishing at the basket. He will need to continue adding strength and consolidating his game, but he is a high scoring wing around 6-foot-6 as things stand.”
