Indiana hosting QB committed elsewhere this weekend
Naperville (Ind.) North senior quarterback Jacob Bell tells On3 that he’ll take an official visit to Indiana on Saturday.
The Hoosiers are in South Bend on Friday taking on Notre Dame in the College Football Playoff.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Bell has been a verbal to Ball State since the summer but didn’t sign. Curt Cignetti and his program have been keeping tabs on Bell all fall and hosted him for the win over Nebraska.

“The atmosphere in Bloomington was electric,” Bell said at the time. “You can tell the fans love the new culture and coaching staff and it was really cool to be a part of. Personally, I’m just excited to see a winning program show interest and allow me to be a part of the atmosphere.”
Indiana wants Bell to be part of their program. They’ll have more dialogue about that this weekend.
As a senior Bell completed over 63 percent of his passes for 3,082 yards and 38 touchdowns to just seven interceptions. He added four more rushing scores.
Cignetti and his staff have 22 commits to date in the 2025 class.
