Four-star Edge Jake Kreul signs with Oklahoma
After several teams showed interest in IMG Academy edge Jake Kreul throughout his recruiting process, the relentless four-star edge officially put his recruitment to a close and signed with Oklahoma on Wednesday. Kreul signed with the Sooners over Florida, Miami, Ole Miss, Penn State, and Texas.
The six-foot-two, 220-pound defensive lineman is the eighth-ranked edge and the 46th-ranked player nationally. Kreul is confident that he will be used to his fullest potential in head coach Brent Venebles‘ scheme.
“What really excites me about my opportunity with Oklahoma is how they utilize their edge rushers,” Kreul has said.
His official visit to Norman was convincing enough for him to make his pledge to the Sooners. Kruel never wavered since committing.

Kreul is ready for the next level at OU, as he feels he can develop into an NFL player under the Sooner staff.
“I just think there’s a higher focus on development now,” Kreul told Rivals. “Getting ready for college, you know what you’re doing, you know how to play the role to get ready. You’re focused on that next level and growing as a player.
