4-star offensive lineman Luke Brown down to 8 schools
Paris (Tenn.) Henry County offensive lineman Luke Brown is down to eight schools, he announced Friday on Instagram.
Brown is the No. 234 prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 15 interior offensive lineman and the No. 5 junior prospect in the state of Tennessee.
Among the top eight for the 6-foot-5, 308-pounder are Auburn, Florida State, Kentucky, Memphis, Michigan State, Missouri, Vanderbilt and Virginia.
One notable program missing is Tennessee, which has offered Brown but hasn’t recruited him as hard as the other programs.

“These eight have been on me the most and the systems most of these schools play in, I feel like that where I fit in best,” Brown told the Tennessean. “I’ve talked with Coach (Josh) Heupel a few times over text message but these other schools have just stood out more in my opinion.”
Brown took a number of unofficial visits this fall. And he plans to be at Memphis for the Tigers’ upcoming junior day.
