Clemson, Dabo Swinney land their QB in the 2027 class
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney and the Tigers scored a commitment from Gainesville (Ga.) High four-star Kharim Hughley on Thursday.
The ACC powerhouse beat Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss and Duke among others.
”Coach Dabo and the culture he’s set and I feel like I’d fit perfectly in their offensive scheme,” Hughley said.
Hughley was offered last week and didn’t take long to jump on the opportunity.
“This is a pretty big opportunity,” Hughley said. “Just to be wanted by a top program is always a good feeling.
“The culture they have there is what fires me up there isn’t another program like it.”
Hughley looks forward to seeing how things continue to develop with Clemson.
“I also have a former teammate plays there and he talks about how the players aren’t just teammates they’re a family in the locker room and that’s always a good thing to hear,” Hughley said.
