Arizona flips 4-star offensive lineman Justin Morales away from Kansas State
El Paso (Texas) Franklin four-star offensive lineman Justin Morales has flipped his commitment from Kansas State to Arizona, according to Rivals’ Pete Nakos.
Morales had been pledged to the Wildcats since June, when he chose them over Oregon State, Michigan State, Texas Tech, and a host of other offers.
The 6-foot-4, 250-pounder is the No. 348 overall prospect and No. 29 interior lineman in the 2026 class, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, an equally weighted average that utilizes all three major recruiting services.
Rivals, however, is higher on him than both 247 and ESPN. In the recently updated Rivals300 rankings, Morales was tabbed as the nation’s No. 223 recruit and No. 16 interior lineman.

He provides an immediate boost to Arizona’s class, becoming their third highest-rated commitment this cycle. Morales is the fourth Rivals300 prospect in the fold, joining quarterback Oscar Rios, offensive lineman Malachi Joyner, and running back Brandon Smith.
The Wildcats also move up to No. 41 in the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings with his addition — just three days before National Signing Day. If their class remains there, it’ll be an eight-spot improvement under head coach Brent Brennan from a year ago.
For Kansas State, Morales’ defection means they don’t have a single blue-chip commitment this cycle after a disappointing season on the field. The Wildcats have 19 commitments in 2026, but have seen a nearly 10-spot dropoff from last year’s class.
