2026 OL Jakobe Green commits to Mississippi State
Niceville (Fla.) offensive lineman Jakobe Green visited Mississippi State this weekend and the three-star has committed to Jeff Lebby and the Bulldogs.
Over a dozen schools have offered the 6-foot-3 1/2, 360-pounder, including Florida, Maryland, Miami and Ole Miss.
Mississippi State offered Green on Jan. 6 and he saw what he was looking for in a school in Starkville.
“It really feels like home,” Green told On3. “I like a smaller city like Niceville, and with coach Lebby being an offensive lineman and having coach Loadholt and coach Jackson around, I know I will get developed.”

Green and assistant offensive line coach Alex Jackson really hit it off on this visit. That connection played a factor in his decision.
“Coach Jackson is like family. He and my pops go way back, so I know I can trust him and his word. He and the staff made me their top priority with football and even outside of football. Coach Jackson calls, hits me up to check on me and things of that nature.
“They showed me a lot of love while I was visiting too.”
