Lorenzo Johnson is a standout junior football player for the Apple Valley High School Sun Devils, known for his versatility as a wide receiver and defensive back. He’s been a key contributor on varsity, but what really put him on the map was his game‑winning interception in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 7 playoffs, where he intercepted a pass in the end zone with just over 40 seconds left to ice a 21‑20 victory over North (Torrance) and send Apple Valley deeper into the postseason.
