Romeo Doubs injury update: Packers WR ruled out with concussion vs. 49ers
Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs had to leave Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Doubs slammed his head violently on the field after trying to dive for a potential touchdown catch in the end zone. He ended up dropping the ball and the pass was incomplete. If you want to watch video of the play on which he was injured, you can see that here.
Doubs was taken to the medical tent by the Packers’ training staff, to be evaluated for a concussion. According to Steve Megargee, he came out of the injury tent and eventually made his way to the Green Bay locker room. And shortly after that, the Packers announced that Doubs was officially ruled out of the game with a concussion.
Green Bay running back Josh Jacobs was also dealing with cramping, according to the team. He was questionable to return to Sunday’s game. It wouldn’t matter, as the Packers absolutely steamrolled the 49ers, 38-10. Jacobs still finished with 26 carries for 106 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
