The Buffalo Bills are signing defensive end Bradley Chubb to a three-year, $43.5 million contract, according to Dianna Russini of The Athletic. Chubb will join the Bills after spending the last four seasons with the Miami Dolphins.

Bradley Chubb, a two-time Pro Bowler, should make an immediate impact on the Bills’ pass rush. In 2025, the former NC State star registered 47 tackles, eight tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He had a productive year after missing the entire 2024 season due to a torn ACL.

Chubb suffered the injury in Week 17 of the 2023 season. In that year, the Georgia native tallied 73 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, and an NFL-leading six forced fumbles.

Before joining the Dolphins, Chubb was a member of the Denver Broncos for nearly five seasons. The Broncos selected Chubb at No. 5 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft and made an immediate impact with 60 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and 12 sacks in his rookie season. He dealt with multiple injuries during his time in Denver, which ultimately led the team to trade him to the Dolphins during the 2022 season.

The Dolphins officially released Bradley Chubb at the start of the league year

Once the Dolphins acquired Chubb, he signed a five-year, $110 million contract extension. He was named to his second Pro Bowl after the 2022 season, despite playing for two different teams.

The Dolphins officially released Chubb on Wednesday to save $7.3 million in salary cap space. The 30-year-old had two more years remaining on his contract.

It was reported in February that Miami was going to release Chubb, one of the few big moves the team has made during the offseason. QB Tua Tagovailia was released by the Dolphins, and he’s signing a contract with the Atlanta Falcons. Additionally, the Dolphins have released WR Tyreek Hill, who missed most of the 2025 season due to a torn ACL.

Chubb will join a Bills team that is looking to make a Super Bowl run with new head coach Joe Brady. In 2025, the Bills finished the regular season with a 12-5 record and lost to the Broncos in the divisional round of the playoffs.
