Pat Bryant injury update: Broncos WR released from hospital, diagnosed with concussion
Following a scary hit in a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos receiver Pat Bryant was hospitalized. He was taken immediately to the hospital after a scary scene unfolded at Mile High.
Fortunately, Bryant appears no real worse for the wear, though he’ll have to go through concussion protocol in the near future. According to a report from Mike Klis of 9NEWS, Bryant has been released from the hospital and “has a concussion but nothing more.”
Following the game, the very first question asked to head coach Sean Payton was about the health of Pat Bryant. Payton didn’t have much of an update but expressed optimism.
“He’s got movement. That’s encouraging. I’ll get an update here probably in the next 15 minutes. But, he was moving his hands and his legs,” said Payton. “So, as we know more, we’ll let you know.”
With less than 40 seconds left, Pat Bryant caught a pass from quarterback Bo Nix, where he took a massive hit over the middle from cornerback Montaric Brown. He was then tended to at once on the field, with the staff reportedly having to unscrew his facemask from his helmet, before both teams took their helmets off and surrounded him.

Bryant was a third-round pick out of Illinois in the 2025 NFL Draft. He has recorded 27 catches for 347 yards and one touchdown so far this season.
