Another wild week of college baseball is in the books. Following upsets, sweeps and more in Week 7, BetMGM has updated its National Championship Odds with a new betting favorite emerging to win the College World Series.

The week had a big impact on the picture across the country. In D1Baseball’s Top 25, there are four new teams with a ton of movement throughout. In On3’s latest Field of 64 Projections, two new hosts emerged with some recent college baseball powers trending down towards the bubble.

Last week, Texas was the favorite to win it all. This week, though, the Longhorns drop down to having the second-best odds, headlining a ton of movement in the odds to win in Omaha.

Here’s a full look at BetMGM’s National Championship odds. There are some strong College World Series contenders at the top.

Records and odds last updated entering Wednesday (4/1)

UCLA +600

Current Record: 26-2 (12-0 in Big Ten)
Current D1Baseball Top 25 Ranking: No. 1

UCLA is now the National Championship favorite in BetMGM’s eyes. The Bruins have established themselves as the best team in college baseball so far, and sit 26-2 overall and a perfect 12-0 in Big Ten play. They most recently swept Iowa on the road last weekend and will host No. 12 USC this weekend in an intriguing Big Ten series.

Texas +750

Current Record: 24-4 (7-2 in SEC)
Current D1Baseball Top 25 Ranking: No. 2

Texas has been rolling all season long, and it comes in with the second-best odds to win it all entering Week 8. The Longhorns swept rival No. 8 Oklahoma this past weekend, improving to 7-2 in the SEC and now sit at 24-4 overall. After getting back to the midweek win column with a win over Texas State on Tuesday, Texas will be on the road at South Carolina this weekend.

Georgia Tech continues to look the part as a National Championship favorite. The Yellow Jackets swept No. 14 NC State this past weekend, improving to 9-3 in ACC play to start the year. They then dominated in a run-rule victory against No. 18 Auburn on Tuesday, winning 13-3. Sitting at 23-5 on the season, Georgia Tech has the third-best odds to win it all.

Mississippi State +1000

Current Record: 25-4 (7-2 in SEC)
Current D1Baseball Top 25 Ranking: No. 4

It was a rivalry weekend this past weekend for Mississippi State, and it took care of business. The Bulldogs swept No. 18 Ole Miss on the road, improving to 7-2 in the SEC, which is tied for the top of the league’s standings. After a 12-0 win over Grambling on Tuesday, Mississippi State hosts No. 5 Georgia for a series starting on Thursday. It’s another big-time weekend coming up.

LSU +1500

Current Record: 20-10 (4-5 in SEC)
Current D1Baseball Top 25 Ranking: Unranked

The defending College World Series champions got back on track this past weekend, taking the series from No. 19 Kentucky despite losing the series opener. It was a big series win for LSU, which is the first deviation between BetMGM’s National Championship odds and the rankings this week. The Tigers have a couple of road weekends coming up, starting this week at Tennessee.

Auburn +1800

This past weekend was a setback for Auburn, being swept on the road against rival Alabama. The Tigers were run-ruled in the opener, 11-1, before losing 3-2 and 3-1 in tight games the rest of the weekend. Now below .500 in the SEC, Auburn needs to get back on track. They were run-ruled on Tuesday at No. 3 Georgia Tech in a 13-3 loss as well. They’ll host No. 15 Arkansas this weekend, another team coming off a sweep.

Georgia +2000

Current Record: 24-6 (7-2 in SEC)
Current D1Baseball Top 25 Ranking: No. 5

Georgia was at home this past weekend and swept South Carolina. The series might have been tighter than anticipated with 5-2, 3-1 and 9-7 scores, but a sweep is a sweep. The Bulldogs then defeated Georgia State 14-9 on Tuesday. Now at 24-6 overall and 7-2 in the SEC, Georgia is in a great position looking ahead to the postseason. They’ll be on the road at No. 4 Mississippi State this weekend.

North Carolina +2000

Current Record: 25-4-1 (9-3 in ACC)
Current D1Baseball Top 25 Ranking: No. 6

North Carolina was on the road to face a red-hot Notre Dame team over the weekend, and came away with an impressive series sweep to improve to 9-3 in the ACC. The Tar Heels then won a 5-4, 14-inning thriller on Tuesday against Campbell, reaching 25-4-1 on the season. UNC is again looking like a legitimate College World Series threat, and they’ll host another surging ACC team this weekend at home against Boston College.

Florida State won its first two games of the weekend against Duke, but fell just short of the sweep after losing on Sunday. The Seminoles then won 6-3 at Stetson on Tuesday, reaching 22-6 overall and 7-2 in ACC play. They must now find a way to overcome the lost production of Myles Bailey, who will miss the rest of the 2026 season. FSU is at No. 10 Virginia this weekend.

Texas A&M +2000

Current Record: 23-5 (5-4 in SEC)
Current D1Baseball Top 25 Ranking: No. 20

Texas A&M has won four SEC games in a row, improving to 5-4 in league play after sweeping Missouri on the road this weekend. The Aggies then beat Sam Houston 16-2 on Tuesday, now sitting at 23-5 on the season overall. They’ll host a Vanderbilt team this weekend that just swept Tennessee. Another strong weekend could further improve their College World Series odds.

Florida +2000

Current Record: 23-7 (6-3 in SEC)
Current D1Baseball Top 25 Ranking: No. 21

Florida has played three SEC weekends, and each has ended in a sweep. It was on the wrong end of that sweep two weekends ago, but got back on the right side of things with an impressive 3-0 weekend at No. 4 Arkansas. The Gators fell 4-3 to Jacksonville on Tuesday, but they still look like a contender to win it all. They’ll host Ole Miss this weekend.
