Report: Dallas Cowboys agree to deal with NT Otito Ogbonnia
The Dallas Cowboys are adding to the defensive line. According to a report from the NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the team has agreed to terms with nose tackle Otito Ogbonnia on a one-year deal.
The deal will reportedly be worth $3 million. Ogbonnia has spent the past four seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers.
In four seasons, Otito Ogbonnia has played in 41 games. He has played a full season in just one of his four years, appearing in all 17 games in 2024. He has started 20 games.
During his time with the Chargers, Ogbonnia has logged 82 tackles. He recorded his first half-sack during the 2025 campaign.
Otito Ogbonnia initially entered the NFL as a fifth-round draft pick of the Chargers in 2022. He played his college ball at UCLA.

Ogbonnia spent four years with the Bruins in college. He began contributing right away. He logged 21 tackles in his first season on campus, then would finish his career with 79 tackles total.
Known more as a space-clogger than a pass-rusher, Otito Ogbonnia still managed to produce some decent pass-rush numbers. He logged 8.5 tackles for a loss and 4.5 sacks across four seasons. He also forced two fumbles, recovered one and broke up five passes.
Dallas Cowboys sign safety PJ Locke
According to Jordan Schultz, the Dallas Cowboys have signed safety PJ Locke to a one-year deal. Locke will earn $5 million during his time in Dallas after leaving the Denver Broncos. It’s another addition for the Cowboys that has the fingerprints of new defensive coordinator Christian Parker all over it.
“Sources: The #Cowboys are signing former #Broncos S PJ Locke to a 1 year $5M deal,” Schultz said via X. “He’s reunited with Christian Parker, the new Cowboys DC who previously served as Denver’s DBs coach. Locke has been a key contributor in Denver since 2019 — amassing 174 tackles, 4 sacks, 5 forced fumbles, 11 pass deflections and 2 INTs.”
