Top 25 college football players available in the NCAA Transfer Portal

Several notable transfers have already found their next home. However, there’s no shortage of top targets who are still available in the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Further, more players will continue to enter the portal until it closes on Jan. 16. Of course, players who are still busy competing in the College Football Playoff will receive additional time to consider their options as well.

After all, players like Miami quarterback Carson Beck are proving the importance of the transfer portal on a national stage. With so many players to cover, let’s dive into the Top 25 remaining available players, per On3’s 2026 Transfer Portal Player Rankings.

EDGE Princewill Umanmielen, Ole Miss

On3 Industry Transfer Portal Ranking: No. 3

The elite Ole Miss edge-rusher set the tone on defense for a team which made a College Football Playoff run. Now, Princewill Umanmielen looks to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal and capitalize on his 44 tackles and nine sacks, in addition to an interception. However, he recently signed a deal with the Rebels which has his status in the air.

OT Jordan Seaton, Colorado

On3 Industry Transfer Portal Ranking: No. 5

Jordan Seaton is a former five-star recruit with two years of starting experience at Colorado. The offensive lineman finished his sophomore season as a second-team All-Big 12 selection before opting to test the transfer portal market this offseason. A long list of suitors has already developed.

QB Darian Mensah, Duke

On3 Industry Transfer Portal Ranking: No. 6

After starring at Tulane, Darian Mensah signed a two-year deal with Duke last season. He delivered with 3,973 passing yards with 34 touchdowns and six interceptions on 66.8-percent passing. Despite debate over his Duke deal, he chose to make a move again this offseason.

EDGE Damon Wilson, Missouri

On3 Industry Transfer Portal Ranking: No. 7

Any team in the country would be happy to have Damon Wilson on its defensive front next season. The All-SEC Second-Team selection recorded 23 tackles, nine sacks, two pass deflections and an interception this past season. Wilson is taking his time in his transfer portal search. He will reportedly visit LSU this weekend.

WR Cayden Lee, Ole Miss

Ole Miss WR Cayden Lee chose the enter the NCAA transfer portal after posting 44 catches for 635 yards and a career-high three touchdowns this season. A key part of the College Football Playoff offense, he now looks for a new offense.

RB Makhi Frazier, Michigan State

On3 Industry Transfer Portal Ranking: No. 116

As a sophomore in 2025, Makhi Frazier put together a solid season as a contributor in the Michigan State backfield. He ran for 520 yards and two touchdowns across nine games for the Spartans.

DL D’Antre Robinson, North Carolina

On3 Industry Transfer Portal Ranking: No. 136

D’Antre Robinson entered the transfer portal after posting 39 tackles as a sophomore at North Carolina. Prior to his time with the Tar Heels, he spent one season at Florida where he played in 11 games.

EDGE Elo Modozie, Georgia

On3 Industry Transfer Portal Ranking: 148

After two seasons at Army, Elo Modozie transferred to Georgia and played a role in their College Football Playoff run. He finished his junior season with just seven tackles, but saw action in 13 games for the Bulldogs.

CB Warren Roberson, Texas

As a redshirt sophomore, Warren Roberson broke into the mix and recorded 19 tackles. He added two pass deflections for the Texas defense across his 12 appearances. Now, he looks for a new system.

CB Jonathan Pennix, Southern Miss

On3 Industry Transfer Portal Ranking: No. 171

Pennix enters the transfer portal again, having initially started his career in the ACC at Virginia Tech. The soon-to-be redshirt junior primarily played special teams in 11 games while under Brent Pry. At Southern Miss, he blossomed as a starter, appearing in 13 games with 6 passes defended and 20 tackles. Now he’s seeing where his talents best fit for next year.
