A former five-star recruit, Emoni Bates transferred from Memphis to Eastern Michigan this offseason. There he had 9.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. He did this after being committed to play at Michigan State but reclassified and chose Memphis instead.
Emoni Bates is 18 years old and all the charges against him are allegations. They have not been proven in a court of law.
