The Game has become a staple for FOX in recent years. Eyeballs are drawn to the battle between the Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes on an annual basis. Fans are quite used to the early kickoff by now, usually getting underway just after noon ET. To no surprise, the same is expected this season.

Michigan and Ohio State will kick off in the early window on Nov. 28. FOX announced as such on Monday afternoon, as Big Noon Saturday will be in attendance. For those watching at home, Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt can be expected in the booth. And then down on the sidelines, Jenny Taft will be the one reporting information.

The Saturday following Thanksgiving is traditionally filled with college football’s best rivalry games. Plenty out there will argue Michigan-Ohio State is the best of the bunch. Television ratings usually back up the sentiment as well. Last season saw The Game become the most-watched contest of the season, drawing an average of 18.424 million viewers.

It’s not too complicated to figure out why FOX enjoys broadcasting this one. All full effort is thrown into the broadcast, including sending the pregame show inside the stadium. Ohio State will get the honor in 2026.

Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin discusses beating Michigan

Julian Sayin may have been a first-year starting quarterback but there was a ton of pressure for him walking into Ann Arbor. Ohio State was in the midst of a miserable losing streak in the rivalry game vs. Michigan, dropping four in a row. Sayin was tasked with getting the Buckeyes over the hump.

Sayin admitted to On3’s Chris Low that was something they “needed to get done.” However, he also mentioned about the long-term goals of Ohio State. In reality, Sayin is more interested in winning national championships.

“We want to put another one of these banners up,” Sayin said. “The standard at Ohio State is to win every game.”

There was a lot more to the interview conducted by Low with Sayin. To read the full thing, you can check it out here.

Going back to the Michigan game, Sayin threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns. His one interception was a nervy one, coming in the early stages. But he wound up settling in quite nicely. Ohio State walked out of the Big House with a much needed victory, ending the dreaded drought.
