People on this board won't like to hear this, but Notre Dame needs the ACC more than the ACC needs Notre Dame. At least from the perspective of Notre Dame staying Independent.

Pete B might have talked too much trash in hindsight. The Big Ten supposedly said no to a scheduling agreement with us. Unless the Big 12 ever wants to do some type of scheduling agreement (highly doubt it) maybe we should speak softly and carry a big stick instead of speaking loudly and carrying a small stick. Without the ACC we would be in the Big Ten as a full time member.

And ND is unhappy with how the ACC crammed the miami /ND game on a 24 hour loop for days and days, but didn’t Pete B say after the playoff snub that “ there was irreparable damage done”? Or something to that effect . Now he says “ it’s never been stronger “! Pete man up

The reporting here is worth reading. “ACC coaches and ADs are unhappy with ND” is worthwhile news. But I don’t blame y’all if you get upset by some of the color in this piece. It has a slant.

This guy hates ND and I don't believe his journalism one bit when it comes to ND because he's not able to stay partisan. There might have been a little chirping but highly doubt those words were used. His journalism when it comes to ND is not trustworthy.

Pathetic. F*** the ACC. You think Pitt gets gameday and sells out in November if any other team comes to town? How about BC? Do they sell out any other weekend? ND is all the ACC has.

Pull out from the garbage ACC and park all sports in the Big East like before and Football will be just fine if not better without having to play 5 low rated ACC teams a year
