Moreno to Draft + Milan to Louisville = Pope Fired

Milan said he wanted to go to title contenders only title Louisville contains for is nit so why would he go there? Plus 24 gets drafted that shows how good pope is as a HC because no one had 1 and done to the nba first round coming out of high school.

All I am saying is next season as the roster stands, Pope is unlikely to succeed but he has a chance. With Moreno gone and no major additions the season will be a disaster. Add in all of our rivals having much better seasons, Pope has no chance. I want him to succeed but he has to get Kentucky back in the Top 10, Top 4 in the SEC and 1 -2 seed I. The tournament. Anybody on this board think he is doing that with this roster?

I would prefer Moreno comes back and Milan commits to UK for free

I do think Moreno will stay in the Draft, and we won't get Milan, but I think we get 2 solid Euro players. Love Malachi to death, and hope he reaches his dreams, but if you can get a Euro center that can shoot 3's, that will fit Pope's system even better. I am alot higher on Kam and Hawthorne than most, but I'd love a big Euro 2/3 just for depth.

Why would you not want him to get Moreno and Milan and for UK to have a great season next year? If he doesn't, we will all want him gone but can't we even give him a chance. His first team here could have made it to the elite eight or final four if they had stayed healthy. If we had a healthy JQ and JLowe had been healthy, last season could have been much better. I, for the life of me, don't understand this type of thinking.

With that logic then if Moreno stays in the draft and Milan comes to UK equals Pope coach of the year. At this point both are equally possible.

Pope has to get MM back and land an alpha. Otherwise, he's cooked. Truthfully, I lost a lot confidence in his ability to coach a team after last year's disaster so he may be cooked regardless.

Pope is not going anywhere. He has already received a contract extension.

With all due respect, who is the Euro center that shoots threes, can replace a first round draft pick, plans to come to America for college in the next 60-90 days, and isn't already locked in with another school?
