Virginia high school football ATH Kenaz Sullivan transfers to The St. James Academy
In a move that could alter the Virginia high school football landscape, Kenaz Sullivan has announced that he will transfer from North Stafford to The St. James Academy.
As Sullivan posted on X, “First, I want to say thank you, North Stafford, for everything you’ve done for me; it’s been a great 3 years. But after some talks with my family and close ones, I’ve decided to take my talents and transfer to The St. James Academy!!! ”
Sullivan was a two-way star for North Stafford, making him a Virginia high school football Class 6 all-state first-team member on both offense and defense. On offense, he finished with 32 receptions for 808 yards and seven touchdowns, to go with 23 carries for 200 yards and four scores.
Defensively, Sullivan contributed 85 tackles (ten for losses), ten pass breakups, and two interceptions (including two for touchdowns). Sullivan also contributed on special teams, generating one touchdown out of 416 kick and punt returns.
However, his junior season ended after suffering a leg injury during the regional final against Woodbridge. North Stafford finished the year with an 11-4 record, losing to Oscar Smith in the Class 6 state championship game 44-0.
