South Carolina High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams - Dec. 1

The 2025 South Carolina high school football season is coming to an end, and the state’s best teams are participating in the championship games. Before they crown their champions, here’s how Massey ranked the top squads.

The Massey Rating system, officially used during the BCS era, is a model that ranks sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, the strength of their schedule, and the margin of victory.

1. Northwestern Trojans

The Trojans advanced to the South California high school football Class AAAAA Division 2 state championship game after dominating Indian Land 51-19. Xavier Means rushed for 164 yards and four touchdowns, while Nigel Smith added another rushing TD. Northwestern will face Irmo in the state championship game on December 5.

2. Dutch Fork Foxes

The Foxes are in the Class AAAAA Division 1 state championship game after their 30-10 victory against Dorman. Quintin Wilson had two rushing touchdowns, while Jaxson Knotts had one. Dutch Fork will face Summerville in the championship game on December 6.

3. South Pointe Stallions

The Stallions completed a 40-0 shutout victory over Westside to book their ticket in the South Carolina high school football Class AAAA state championship game. Quarterback J’Zavien Currence led the way with 209 passing yards, 101 rushing yards, and three touchdowns. R.J. Brown finished with 111 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Malik Ratliff had a receiving TD, while Tyreckis Brice had two sacks on defense. South Pointe will face South Florence in the championship game on December 6.

4. Irmo Yellowjackets

The Yellow Jackets dominated Berkeley, 44-6, to keep their season alive. Irmo will face Northwestern in the Class AAAAA Division 2 state championship game on December 5.

5. South Florence Bruins

The Bruins dominated Gray Collegiate to advance to the South Carolina Class AAAA state championship game. Messiah Jackson rushed for 105 yards and five touchdowns, while Cameron James added 176 rushing yards. South Florence will battle South Pointe for the state title on December 6.
