Orlando Magic, AdventHealth unveil seventh refurbished local Florida basketball court
The Orlando Magic unveiled the seventh Florida basketball court they’ve refurbished with the help of AdventHealth.
In a press release published on the team’s official website, Director of Digital News Dan Savage wrote that the Magic unveiled the improved basketball court at Oak Ridge High School. Representing the Southeast Division squad in this ceremony are Magic Executive Vice President of Marketing and Social Responsibility, Shelly Wilkes, and newly signed player Jevon Carter.
The Orlando Magic and AdventHealth worked with Swish Dreams, ACE Courts, and GAF to make paint that lasts and can handle heat. Meanwhile, this initiative will benefit 20 basketball courts in Florida, which started with the court at Wicklow Elementary in August 2021. This project was followed by the refurbishment of the courts at Callahan Center (May 2022), James R. Smith Neighborhood Center (March 2023), Lee P. Moore Park (April 5), Kissimmee City Chamber Community Park Center (January 2024), and Coastline Park in Sanford (March 2025).
