IMG Academy football reveals four scheduled 2026 games

Florida’s No. 1 high school football team from the 2025 season, the nationally ranked IMG Academy Ascenders, have been busy putting together their 2026 slate of games.

If the first four games revealed of their 2026 schedule says anything, IMG Academy will have one of the toughest schedules in the country once again this upcoming fall campaign.

According to an IMG Academy official, the Ascenders have four scheduled games for the 2026 high school football season against St. Louis (HI), The St. James Academy (Va.), NFL Academy (UK) and Hun School (N.J.).

IMG Academy would take on St. Louis, the No. 2 ranked team out of Hawaii to end the 2025 season, over in California on Sep. 5. No location has been solidified as of yet for the contest between the Ascenders and Crusaders.

The other three games revealed would all take place in October as they would face The St. James Academy on Oct. 3, NFL Academy on Oct. 16 and Hun School on Halloween, Oct. 31.

The Ascenders ended this past season with a 10-0 record and finishing at No. 1 in the final 2025 Florida high school football rankings and No. 3 nationally, according to the Rivals National 2025 High School Football Composite Rankings.
