Former Bishop Montgomery players now at Miami Edison (Fla.)
A couple of former Bishop Montgomery (Calif.) players have found their way down to the Sunshine State according to their social media profiles.
Former Knights’ players Trey’Shaun Jackson and Troy Taulua are now both apart of the Miami Edison Red Raiders football team, per their respective social media accounts and MaxPreps official roster.
Jackson collaborated with a Instagram reel that shows him intercepting a pass in Miami Edison’s 51-0 win over Coral Reef back on Oct. 16. Before being at Bishop Montgomery and Miami Edison, Jackson also played in California at Narbonne and in Nevada for Desert Pines and Arbor View, respectively.
The three-star athlete has offers from schools like Arizona, Colorado State, Georgia, New Mexico State and Sacramento State.
Taulua, who is a 2027 athlete, has updated his X, formerly known as Twitter, handle to reflect that his school is Miami Edison and also made a post acknowledging his new digs. The junior was a All-City selection as defensive back at Carson, per the Los Angeles Times’ Eric Sondheimer.

Bishop Montgomery canceled its 2025 football season on back on Sep. 2 on the heels of a tumultuous August in which the Knights had five transfers ruled ineligible.
