2026 NCAA Softball Tournament Bracket: Updated matchups, scores, schedule
With the bracket in place, the 2026 NCAA Softball Tournament is officially underway. Regional action got the race to the WCWS started on Friday.
The top 16 seeds play host in the regional round, led by No. 1 overall team Alabama. The Crimson Tide enter the NCAA Tournament with a 49-7 overall record, including a 19-5 mark in SEC play, to become the top team in the bracket. Regionals feature a double-elimination format throughout the weekend.
The regional round runs May 15-17, followed by Super Regionals May 21-24. From there, the last eight teams standing will head to Oklahoma City for the Women’s College World Series. On3 is tracking the 2026 NCAA Softball Tournament with scores and the updated schedule.
